Description

Stuart Hall: Cornerstone Laying 5. University of Chicago president William Rainey Harper delivered the dedicatory address at the cornerstone laying for the new Law School April 2, 1903. Theodore Roosevelt, President of the United States, also attended, and received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree later that day at the spring convocation.
