Abstract

Front page of the University of Chicago student newspaper The Daily Maroon announcing the sudden passing of Law School dean James Parker Hall on March 14, 1928. He was in the hospital recovering from a surgery for stomach ulcers when he suffered an embolism. Colleagues from the Law School expressed their grief, including Dean Hall's successor, Prof. Harry A. Bigelow.
