Abstract
Mr. Cooper, who worked with architect Eero Saarinen to design the Law School building in 1956, reflects upon the planning of the building, the challenges that faced the architects (budgetary concerns, glass wall designs, incorporating the feel of the Midway into a law building), and the reasoning behind some of the design decisions that were made. He then turns to the current expansion project, describing his vision and his hope that the expansion will benefit the Law School and the Law School library.
