The law library received three gifts, bound volumes of receivership and reorganization of railroads (from Winstron, Strawn, Smith, and Patterson); part of the library of former Illinois Justice Frederic R. DeYoung (from Herbert deYoung, J.D. 1928); and 190 volumes of Latin American laws (from Gardner, Carton, Douglas, and Chilgren), among other events
